Printing a barcode that scans

• Print dark bars on a plain, light background.
• Keep the clear space either side of the bars; do not crop the image.
• Do not stretch the image: keep its width and height in proportion.
• Avoid seams, folds and tight curves.
• Print one sample and scan it before printing the whole run.
